Dr. Z is an African-American Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York State, with a strong background in Empowerment Psychology and  School Psychology.  He is also the creator and co-founder of the Consultation Tower LLC, which is an online psychological empowerment and behavioral health solutions platform designed to meet the professional and personal needs of our viewers and clients. 

Dr. Z. provides psychotherapy and psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. His therapeutic approach is eclectic and strongly rooted in Individual Psychotherapy, along with cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches.

Dr. Z. is also a creative mental health consultant, who has conducted training on topics ranging from psychological first aid to life skills. He has also authored a number of online articles on topics such as conflict management, social empowerment, personal development, business growth, and workplace solutions. 

Dr. Z. is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at the City College of the City University of New York (CUNY).  He has taught courses such as Workplace Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology, Community Psychology, and Psychological Testing for almost 15 Years. He also serves as a School Psychologist with the New York City Department of Education for well-over a decade.
